Abstract: The investment process in the realization of residential and public buildings is a combination of many
elements and actions in a corresponding order. Each part of the process has its important purpose, both for the followup
actions and the realization of the final product. In Europe and the United States, investors put aside between five
and ten percent of funding for design and feasibility studies in order to optimize costs. In Bulgaria for this stage of the
investment process, investors spend about three percent of the total amount of the budget planned for the realization of
the investment project.
