Abstract: In this publication, the dynamics of the mortgage loans has been studied and the ratios mortgage loans to
loans and advances and mortgage loans to total assets of the banks in Bulgaria in the period 2007 – 2018. A
comparative analysis has been carried out of the mortgage loan dynamics in the banks in Bulgaria. Major trends in the
development of mortgage crediting in Bulgaria have been outlined.
